Operating from SME Bank’s Kompleks Kilang Bimbingan (KKB) initially, Syarikat Faiza is now the ultimate brand name for rice products in Malaysia. Founded by Puan Hjh Faiza Bawumi Sayed Ahmad, the strength of FAIZA lies in its energetic and professional driving force with extensive knowledge and experience in its field.
Syarikat FAIZA was established in 1982, doing retail activities as its core business. In 1992, Syarikat FAIZA officially being incorporated under Syarikat FAIZA Sdn. Bhd (SFSB) and went into venture capital with Padiberas Nasional (BERNAS) in 1997.
FAIZA distributes several good quality rice types which have created a tremendous impact in consumer demand such as Basmathi, Fragrant rice, Thai Super Special and Local rice. FAIZA has also recognised the intrinsic benefits rice consumers would derive with “Ponni” rice in their diet.
Today, under the bran name Taj Mahal, Ponni rice has been distributed throughout Malaysia. FAIZA also has its own fleet of trucks and cars to handle distributions and sales services. FAIZA has a solid infrastructure of rice production and distribution. The production plant is built on a total land area of 300,00 sq. feet, comprising of high-tech equipment for rice processing and packaging, which can have a total production capacity of 12,000 metric tons per month.
Tadika Anakku Sayang
Puan Adibah Mohamad is an excellent example of a woman entrepreneur educations who strives to provide excellent and all round early child education aiming to produce children who are fundamentally strong in knowledge and religion through her Tadika Anakku Sayang (TAS).
As one of the early educational institutions for children with the philosophy “Excellence in the World and the Hereafter Begins Here” (“Kecemerlangan Dunia dan Akhirat Bermula di Sini”) TAS is always committed towards the children’s optimum early development because childhood comes once in a lifetime and parents should takes the opportunity to give the best for their children.
TAS provides semi formal as well as formal early child education. This pre-school education is based on the curriculum prescribed by the Ministry of Education which assimilate Islamic values. These values are crucial to be inculcated in children to ensure a sound and total mental development.
TAS also provides “fardu ain” as well as Quranic lessons using the Iqra and Talaqqi Musyafahah (one-t0-one) methods.
